Description

Specialties

Trinity Sailing provide sailing holidays and cruises, sailing charter for family groups or corporate organisations, RYA sailing courses and sail training experiences for young people.

Our fleet consists of gaff-rigged traditional vessels, built between 1892 and 1924, all on the National Historic Fleet, which are based in Brixham.

We cruise some of the UK and Europe’s most beautiful coasts, from Scandinavia to the Bay of Biscay: Brittany, Normandy, Channel Islands, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and West Coast of Scotland.

We specialise in sailing holidays for individuals who wish to book by the berth and also group voyages that take in events like the annual Tall Ships Races and the best maritime festivals and regattas. In addition to longer cruises of a week or more we also offer weekend breaks and shorter cruises.

As a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) accredited training centre we also run a range of RYA sailing courses.

History

Established in 1999.

Trinity was established in 1999 through bringing together three organisations with similar interests in maritime heritage and youth welfare, and each with its own historic vessel, built locally in South Devon.

Since that time we have helped many thousands of young people through offshore sail training on our historic vessels.

We now provide a range of sailing holidays and cruises covering a variety of beautiful destinations in the UK and northern Europe. These holidays include short breaks and weekend ‘getaways’ to week long voyages and longer trips. We provide all the crew required to run the boat so our guests are able to sit back and enjoy the view or getting involved and ‘hands-on’ if they wish.

Through our sailing courses people learn a variety of new sailing skills and qualifications and gain experience in handling traditional sailing rigs and craft.
