I got locked out of my house recently and got stuck helping my mate at his allotment while I waited for some keys to turn up. Now I’m no allotment expert (though my friends seem to be getting into them) but this seems like a pretty nice one.
It’s just around the back of Knowle and you can drive onto it which helps with the heavy lifting and transportation, as do the communal wheelbarrows that are lying around. It’s also set on a hill which is different and it offers views right over south Bristol to the Suspension Bridge and beyond. I’m not converted yet but I can see that it would be pleasant enough to place to spend a few hours a week.
