Specialties
PetStay Bristol and Bath, home boarding for dogs is a loving and caring alternative to kennels, providing a less stressful environment for your dog and peace of mind for you whilst you are away on holiday. Home dog boarding is about your dog being in a comfortable, happy environment in a home, with lots of safeguards in place, but without any cages or outdoor kennels.
When we receive an enquiry we take the details of your dog and carefully match them to one of our trusted dog carers, who have been specially selected by us, interviewed, licenced and insured. We then match your dog and the most suitable carer and organise a no-obligation meeting for you to visit the carer to make sure you, and your dog are happy with the carer we have chosen.
While staying with one of our carers your dog will be treated as one of the family, and all your dog’s normal routines will be kept. Only dogs from the same household are boarded together. All our carers are experienced dog lovers, so your dog will receive lots of love and attention with cuddles, walks and playtime in their home-from-home.
History
Established in 2005.
Petstay was founded in Hull in 2005 and has been so successful that. It has expanded to over 20 franchises in the UK. When I returned to the UK after several years in Spain I decided that I wanted to work with dogs again, as I had previously been a dog groomer, but without the backacke! I had previously discovered the tremendous benefits of Dog Home Boarding when I had wanted to attend a family event and my family and friends were unable to look after my lovely dog Misty and I really didn’t want to use dog Kennels. I found out that PetStay wasn´t available in this area and so PetStay Bristol and Bath was born!
Meet the Business Owner
Andy F.
Business Owner
For many years I was unable to look after a dog because I worked for a large company and I was often away from home. When I returned to the South West and became a dog groomer, Misty was able to join our family. She was originally a rescue dog and had stayed in many different homes, but she has now been with us for seven years and wants for nothing. She is blind and is getting old, but she’s still as beautiful and obstinate as ever!
More recently I returned to the UK after a few years in Spain teaching English and I wanted to work with Dogs again. PetStay Home dog boarding seemed the Ideal new careers, providing dogs with a home from home while their owners are on holiday, far kinder and less stressful than going to the kennels.
