Parsons bakery do the best vanilla slices EVER. I cannot recommend them highly enough. In fact, most of the stuff Parsons sells is very, very tasty, if a bit on the lardy side (as is the case with all bakeries).
Forget Gregg’s and all the others, if you’re in Keynsham head to Parsons. The crusty bread they sell is delicious, there’s a huge range of cakes, and some great traditional treats such as bread pudding.
If you’re after some lunch, they sell freshly made sandwiches with generous fillings at reasonable prices — far better than the skinny things you pay more for at places like Boots.

I love freshley baked foods… a good old fashioned iced bun just can’t be beaten, unless of course you find a perfect cinamen swirl!
Parson’s Bakery is a South West based company, with stores in Gloucester, Somerset, Bristol and Bath you can find their yummy foods in many locations!
If you are walking through Keynsham and you happen to pass this shop the smell will draw you in for sure. The price is also quite reasonable, cheaper than I would expect for such fresh quality food.
