History

Established in 2011.

Pack & Send is an Australian brand that started in 1993. It came to the UK in 2009 and the brand now has 5 individually owned stores across the UK. Pack & Send Bristol is owned by Phil & Katie Diacon.

Meet the Business Owner

Philip D.

Business Owner

Philip studied Aeronautical Engineering with German at the University of Bath before completing RAF officer training in 1996. After graduating as a fighter pilot he served throughout the world, including combat missions in the Middle East followed by qualifying as an instructor at the RAF’s fighter school. Having been selected as the aerobatic display pilot, Philip’s tenure exposed him to public interaction and corporate communications with a wide array of nations and agents. Philip is a strong advocate of physical fitness driving mental performance; he is a keen runner, skier and lapsed mountaineer. His reading interests include economics and current affairs whilst his love for working with wood awaits a usable workbench. Philip left the RAF in January 2011 and opened the 5^th UK Pack & Send store in Bristol in February 2011 with Katie, his wife.
