The worst fish and chips ice had… EVER! Stale oil used to cook frozen fish. The chips aren’t even recognisable as ever being part if a potato. £5.60 for large cod and chips and ended up giving it to the dog after a few bites. Most expensive dog food ever. Warning signs: fish and chips and Chinese. A red flag!

My Friends live just around the corner from this place on a little street called The Nursery — how cool is that? And they have a purple front door — it is very nice. Now because thye live so close to Enid’s, the smell of her chinese food tends to drift in through their front window — which makes cooking in their kitchen a chore because all they want to do is pop around the corner, pick up some chinese food and eat it! Also Enid does fish and chips which is helpful for the man of the house, because he isn’t really a chinese fan. Go check out Enid, she is super duper!

What a great name, eh? It was the name that got me with this place. And it was by no means a false lead. Enid’s Fish Bar is a first class chippy and Chinese. They serve the most scrumptious spring rolls here: oozing with the finest meat, bean sprouts and vegetables, you only need a couple to reach a state of glorious satiation.
As for the fish and chips, they are (almost) equally as fulfilling. The latter are suitably chunky morsels, while the former tends to be tender and tasty. Staff are friendly and always pleased to see you.
