Had lovely Sunday lunch very family friendly. Excellent prices service a little slow but they were busy, would definitely come again

The Wishing Well (formerly The Codrington Arms) has changed hands and is under new management. We went as part of a Christmas Party and where so surprised with the warm friendly welcome and a wonderful open fire with logs burning, the perfect start to our experience. The staff and management where friendly and welcoming and the service was superb. Our party had a table laid for christmas with a real touch of care and nothing was too much trouble. The three course meal was excellent and with another party in that night the atmosphere was superb. From talking to the managers I understand there have been problems here in the past but all seems excellent now. We returned on Sunday 8^th January for Sunday lunch and was the best pub lunch I have had for a very long time. The Wishing Well is certainly a wonderful pub in a great setting and am sure the reputation will grow and grow I am certainly recommending it and looking forward to my next visit.

This pub has changed its name to the Wishing Well… well you will soon wish you hadn’t gone there.
Food is awful, service terrible… we were told the chef was ill… perhaps he ate his own cooking!!!

Love this place… Went with my partner and my lil boy and he/​we loved the chickens that run around freely outside! :-) it has a swing and climbing area for kids too which is great! food is perfect too… and the service is great :-) lovely!!!

Very nice and quiet country pub. Not too far from the main road, so access is really easy and is very easy to find. Lovely back garden, with lots of wildlife always around and about. You do find the often group of bikers park up, but this is all in the genre of the pub. Good value for money and also does really nice food.
