I went here today with a friend for brunch after hearing other Unilocalers massive big ups! i wasn’t disapointed! The décor is really quirky with nice little tables, sofa’s and a nice garden. The menu was pretty extensive and healthy but being 11am on a saturday we wanted breakfast. I went for the big breakfast-standard! It was massive and amazing the sausages were hand made… yeeees-great quality. The energy in the place was nice with friendly staff and a great addition to gloucester road. I’ll def be heading back and may well be my new fav spot :)

One of my favorite places for coffee in Bristol. Excellent coffee, very, very friendly staff and a lovely interior. My fav is a chai latte(always beautiful) and their brownies are excellent too. Outdoor seating is great for people watching!

Café Ronak has been favourite of mine for a while now. Ever since I first took the plunge, and walked through from the, maybe slightly less inviting, exterior and into the café itself. The menu written across two walls, rather extensive and as delicious to boot. The old breakfast menu gave you the option to pick three breakfast items to make your own wrap. Often I’ve been here around mid morning, and interrupting my working day for breakfast rather than lunch, and the quick and convenient advantage of a wrap was something that appealed to my colleague and I immediately. They have since changed the menu, the walls now only have the coffee menu on then, which is still as delicious as before. And the food is now confined to a paper menu. The staff were all very busy but always maintain a very natural friendliness, nothing seems too much trouble and that included my request of two breakfast wraps, after checking with the kitchen they returned to confirm that was no problem. I had a small flat white with three shots of espresso and was once again offered the choice of medium or dark roast coffee. A small touch that makes me fall in love with Ronaks a little more. The coffee was delicious, lovely rich flavour and the three shots enough to balanced the disproportionate amount of milk in a flat white. Sam N had a mango and passionfruit smoothie, super fresh and very tasty. Our wraps came out with a small side of crips and were as delicious as we’d hoped. I feel as though there is an ethos here, one that they don’t feel the need to promote. From the free hugs of drinking water filled with slices of fruit to the stack of blankets outside, that people help themselves to, either to sit on or wrap around themselves should the temperature drop. It’s another small gesture but one that leaves you feeling cared for. To quote the handmade bunting outside «Enter a stranger, leave as a friend»

This is a great place for a bit of hippy-vibe quiet time and some tea you’ve never heard of. I’m a sucker for a quirky touch so the teapot/cup combo that it came in really made it for me(see pics)! I need to buy one of those! I’m not a fan of coffee but the girl I was with said it was the nicest latte she’s ever had! There’s also some delicious looking cake(although I didn’t try it, I was very tempted indeed). All the food looked delicious actually so I’ll be going back to try some more of what they have to offer. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was obvious they knew their stuff. They asked what level roast of coffee she wanted and recommended a lovely herbal tea to me. Anyone is welcome; there were people in there working on their laptops and Mums with their children. The garden at the back is the icing on the cake. It doesn’t feel like you’re on Gloucester Road at all. Overall, it’s a no frills café that just got it right.

What a great little café this is! It’s one of those places that I’ve walked passed a few times, always thought it looked great but never really thought of it as a place for lunch. Silly me. The food is great! Café Ronak has fantastic curb appeal. Situated on the most buzzing part of Gloucester Road, it’s got some stiff competition — but it really stands out! It has a really cool wooden sign and outside seating area that make it really stand out. Inside has a really nice atmosphere and casual décor — with lots more wood. You’d be forgiven for missing it, but a few steps passed the counter and there’s a realy nice garden/terrace area out the back. It’s nicely covered for it if rains but seems to also be a nice little sun trap. I actually only went in for a latte and to work for a couple of hours, but saw the menu and had to have something. So I went for the Croque Madame. It was different to any other I’ve had, but it was great. Instead of being like a sandwich, it was 2 slices of sour dough bread resting partly on top of each other. The sauce that the ham had been coated with was really good and although the cheese wasn’t the best, it did top it all off well. The latte was also superb. One of those that you just wanted to drink it in all in one go. I’m making myself want one just thinking about it. I’m really glad I finally went into Café Ronak and will definitely be going back again soon.
