Charity shops often have that musty old clothes smell but you walk into British Heart Foundation and it smells nice! The shop itself is spacious and well laid out. It stocks a good selection of books at the front of the store and has some nice clothes. As you may expect, stuff varies and I’ve yet to find clothes I have been hugely excited by in here however I have discovered some interesting books. I rarely ever buy books from real bookstores now, I go to charity shops or the library. Why spend £2 on a magazine when you can go to British Heart Foundation and get an interesting novel instead!

This is a nifty little charity shop, selling the usual bric-à-brac items for very reasonable prices. For some reason, donations here tend to be of lesser quality than some of the other charity shops in the area. However, if you’re looking for some cheap videos or DVDs, this is the place to go.

The smaller of the two British Heart foundation stores in edminster, a good selection of goods, you know, all the usual great brick-a-brack that you can expect, some hidden gems, some absolute rubbish, and alot of stuff inbetween! Check out the larger one futher down the high street for some pretty impressive furniture. Good shop, good cause… good!

British Heart Foundation is a charity which supports research, prevention and care for those living with heart disease. Just opposite the BHF’s large electrical and furniture shop is a more traditional charity shop filled with clothes and bric a brac. This is a busy little shop which is probably the best of the charity shops in Bedminster’s high street.
