Specialties
Nordic Walking is fitness walking in Bristol’s stunning parks, using specially designed poles. It is a total body workout and we have different walks so you can work to your own fitness level.
If you’re not fit then don’t worry, we can start on an easy walk and build from there. If you’re already fit we have more intensive walks and specialist classes that should suit you.
Check out our website for more details and come and join us by booking a one-off Beginners Workshop where you will learn the technique. Then you can join us at any of our daily hour-long fitness walks or our longer walks advertised on our website. We look forward to meeting you. Any questions just get in contact.
History
Established in 2010.
Vicky Welsh started Bristol Nordic Walking in 2010 and since then it has gone from strength to strength. We now have multiple instructors, daily fitness walks and an ever increasing group of walkers. Our aim is to spread the word around Bristol about just how effective and fun this total body workout is. People living in Bristol are always keen to try new things, keep fit and get out and about in our fantastic city! We also are proud that Nordic walking is a ‘green’ activity and we have strong links with many local charities.
