Blue Banana is an alternative clothing store selling stuff that you normally wouldn’t be able to find in other high street fashion stores. I have been here a couple of times in search for fancy dress costumes as they offer things like face paint and neon accessories, but it’s not somewhere I would go to for my everyday wear clothing!
However, if you are into the goth /grunge /punk trends then you might just love it here, as the stuff they sell is pretty out there. They have a variety of crazy tutus, quirky t-shirts, white foundation (which I am very sceptical of…), piercings, unusual jewellery etc. So if this sounds like your thing, head on down to Blue Banana. It’s located just near the «Urban Outfitters» entrance to Cabot, kind of opposite Poundland, so it’s fairly easy to find!

This is a wicked new little alternative clothing fashion store in Bristol, near the entrance of the new Cabot Circus shopping complex. They have a good selection of stuff including t-shirts, hoodies, trousers, punky kilts/skirts, belts, accessories, hair stuff and they also offer an affordable piercing service (which my boyfriend used and would recommend). My favourite stuff is the Iron Fist range, of which they stocked a lot.
I went in shortly after it opened as it’s a very new store, and found the staff to be really friendly and helpful (don’t know if this is because it had only been open two days?! haha)
