Allium

We made a quick stop at Allium for tea while waiting for our coach tour bus which picks and drops off at Parade right in front of the restaurant.
Service was quick and attentive and the tea was quite tasty, I especially liked the scones although I though the clotted cream too bitter.
I would definately recommend for those wanting a quick cuppa while waiting for their coach to arrive.

Allium seems to be something of a craze amongst the folk of Clifton Village. I’m told it is so popular they’ve even started a Facebook page. I shall therefore try and keep my personal thoughts brief.
As wonderful a little shop it seems, very cosy and snug with its little bush outside — it does seem a trifle steep to me. Engagement rings seem to be the speciality and I do understand how expensive weddings can be. Equally I understand that the jewellery business is an expensive one but £100 for a pair of cufflinks — it all seems a bit silly to me.
That aside this is a very good store in terms of quality and professionalism. It’s tight and tidy and you really do get the impression they’re putting the customer first. On the whole then, I rather dig it.
