A J’s Cafe

I don’t know if this place has anything to do with the AJ up the road who knocks out home appliances but this AJ knocks out traditional budget nosh — simple.
It’s a greasy little spoon with the menu printed on colourful card in the window so don’t expect too much. The sort of thing you can expect is ‘liver, onion and mash’ for £4.50 or a Sunday Carvery for a similar price. The locals tend to get the best seats but the atmosphere is always nice and lively.
