007 Hostel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as we were going to a gig in Bristol. When we first arrived we were TERRIFIED as it looked so old and dirty from the outside. However once inside we found the staff to be friendly, free tea + coffee + wifi. Everything was alright. Pretty basic and old. But clean enough.

stayed there for one night while on holiday in bath. It was quite nice inside for a hostel but the front door was not very inviting. It was broken and had no lock. looked like the entrance to a building site. No locks on doors and quite a long walk from the city centre but this was ok as we were on a walking holiday.
We had a 12 bed dormetory to ourselves, told there was other guests but proved to be the only 2. The extractor fan from the kitchen was making one hell of a noise and disturbed our sleep after touring bath spa,
wells and glastonbury. The showers were good and a spacious kitchen, free coffe and tea. plenty of facilities to make own food. Room ajacent to kitchen and washing machines. For a hostel very good but could not understand why used by so few people 12 pound a night what more do you want for a cheap break.

i stayed in a 14 share room. The room was not too squashy, and the beds relatively comfortable, for a hostel! There is a nice movie room where movies are always being played, and the selection is quite good.
Now for the bad: it is a 25 minute walk out of the city centre, and Bedminster isn’t the nicest of suburbs, at all. The showers are not separate from each other, so you literally have four naked guys showering next to each other. when in here, the «resident guys» behind the desk would come in and look!
Not a truly comfortable experience, especially when there is «Bristol Backpackers» right in the centre of town, where everything is more professional and welcoming, and it is for the same price!
