Customised, personalised murder mystery parties. You tell us about your guests, your theme, your venue and as much information as you can in advance, and we write a murder mystery party especially for your group. You receive invitations, character booklets, name tags, place setting markers, costume suggestions, written clues, certificates and, of course, the solution, by a combination of email and post.

The characters will be fitted to your guests gender, age, hobbies — anything you want.

Everyone is involved, including the host so you can all play detective for the evening.

Designed to run over the course of an evening, usually over a 3-​course meal, we can even make menu, music and prop suggestions.

Great fun for all ages and we can cater for groups of 6 to 60 people!

History

Established in 2008.

Having been part of a murder mystery business producing one-​night and weekend murder mysteries in hotels across Europe, both for private groups and business team-​building exercise, Emma and Cathy saw a niche in the market!

Yes, you could buy murder mysteries in a box but generally they were for a maximum of 8 people, assumed you had an even number of men and women and were somewhat generic.

We realised there was a call for more customised murder mysteries where the guests could feel that the plot and characters really had been written specifically for them.

We amalgamated our creative streaks and our experience of actually being in murder mystery productions and launched Write Me A Murder.

We’ve gone from strength to strength, receiving nothing but good reviews and we always have great fun customising the plots and characters to the guests.
