I cannot recommend White Leaf enough. First of all every dress is custom-​made for you so you can get your dream gown with every little detail customized exactly as you want it, but for much less than a «high end» gown.
The owner/​designer Blanca is so sweet and fun to work with. She has great taste and style so I really trusted her recommendations and she did not let me down — my dress turned out beautiful and fit me absolutely perfect. My dress is very high quality and photographed beautifully as well.
I can’t recommend this shop highly enough, do not miss stopping in here if you are getting married.

I accompanied one of my close friends for a fitting in this wonderful shop. I’m not a particular fan of the classic wedding dress which is just as well, because this store offers modern yet chic designs made ethically and with low prices to boot. Every style can be adjusted and even the made to measure dresses start from just £650 including all fittings.
Whilst my friend was getting super star treatment from the assistant I had a quick look at the bridesmaid dresses (always the bloody bridesmaid) and I have to say I was equally impressed that they’ve managed to give the dresses very simple and elegant cuts. Especially stunning are their vintage dresses from the 50s onwards that can be tailored to fit, a wonderful concept and 100% waste free.

This is truly a stunning boutique. Before anyone gets excited… I am not getting married! I am however a huge supporter of ethical fashion and beautiful dresses. The lovely and super-​chic owner of this boutique happily talked me through the concept for the shop as she steamed a wedding dress waiting to be collected. They have a small collection of ready-​to-​wear dresses– which I carefully looked through– classic simple bias cut, modern strapless, ornately detailed. All superb quality, incredible fabrics. The owner explained that all the dresses are handmade-​and ethically made– by a group of expert seamstresses and designers based in the Czech Republic. Each of the designs can be adapted for the individual bride or a dress can be designed by scratch. The shop and the owner– who knows the ins-​and-​outs of every aspect of the business– made me feel very comfortable, which I think is important when shopping for such an emotionally fraught item!
