History

Established in 2013.

David and Marco have over 30 years of optical experience between them. They have both lived and worked in various opticians in Brighton for many years and have finally opened their own practice! Given their extensive experience in all avenues of optical life, they intend to provide unsurpassed customer service and advice.

Business Owner

I started my career in optics at the age of 16 as a laboratory technician glazing spectacle lenses. Since then I’ve progressed to achieve qualifications as both an Ophthalmic Dispensing Optician as well as Optometrist. This 16 years of optical experience has taught me all I need to open The Specky Wren which started trading in September 2013. I met David whilst working at an independent opticians in Brightons North Laines and together we produced the concept of an affordable independent opticians.
