Huge place with tons of selection! Similar to Forever 21. Everything is affordable. I love this place, and shopped here too much while I was studying abroad. But I did bring home very nice clothes that no one else would have back home. And their clothes have lasted me 5 yrs and still going strong! Everyone always compliments me when I wear something from here. And it’s perfect for Americans who have problems fitting into the s/​m/​l scheme, they have way more in between sizes, just sometimes it can make my choice more difficult if I want a tighter or looser fit and both look good! Don’t get deterred by the crowd, it’s worth it. It can be a little overwhelming though and you definitely can leave with a lot more than you wanted but it makes you feel all warm & fuzzy inside.

Primark is okay I guess.
I try not to shop there, as I find the whole experience incredibly stressful. It’s always too busy, there is no natural light, and there are just clothes and rubbish strewn everywhere, not to mention loud mouthed teenage girls that just seem to take over the place!
I hadn’t really bought clothes from Primark until recently, as in the past I’ve found them to be of poor quality. However I did come across a great pair of trousers last week, which I snapped up for £10. Bargain. I’ve washed them a few times and they STILL haven’t turned in to rags!

I Primark. If I am in town, a visit there is a no-​brainer. But the problem is, I always buy what I want, not what I need. It’s crazy. It’s cheap and chirpy. Avoid the weekends.

So cheap. Decent quality (Better than USA Fast-​Fashion Stores). Spend some time and you’ll find awesome deals. Bought cute yellow ballet flats for $ 3.50, yes that’s right $ 3.50 usd! What a deal. The quality is like Payless Shoes in the states. 50 pieces of hair ties for only $ 3.00?! Yes, please! Cute handbags for $ 15?! YESS!
The Primark on Oxford Street has a better selection (and deals).

I completely forgot how good Primeywimey is! So glad I decided to take a punt on it today because it has saved me a fortune!
I’m usually really weary of Primani, with its hordes of prams, queues and the disarray of jumbled up clothes, but to be fair I was missing out through being lazy (surprise surprise).
Today I went in with an open mind and low budget an am thrilled with my findings. I’ve basically walked out with a new lovely autumn wardrobe, a new (very warm) coat for cb that looks expensive but was actually only 10 squid! And as I was feeling silly and cold, three ridiculous (but snugly) all in one suits. A tiger for G, a strawberry for me and a monkey for Chas. All for under £80. Winners!
I also find this the best place for jarmies, tights and socks and things. They also do some nice bags here for pennies.

I LOVE PRIMARK. WHY IS IT SO CHEAP!?!
Well, I’ll answer that one — it’s cheap because the clothes are generally cheap. Expect missing belts or sizes or some buttons missing. Whatever, you get what you pay for. It’s always crowded, but the workers are very kind.

Primark has had its production methods questioned in the press, which is unsurprising given the incredibly low price of most of its stock. Funnily enough, this actually seems to of reassured customers because now Primark has had such a public dressing down on the subject they now have no option but to ensure their production methods are nothing less than ethical. The low price is more easily attributed to the cheap fabrics and relatively poor finish of the items on sale. However this is disposable fashion and a great pleasure to engage in occassionally as anyone who has purchased a pair of shoes for less than 5 quid and loved them for 3 weeks will now.

This is definitely pile ‘em high and sell ‘em cheap territory. As others have said, it’s a large store, but with too few changing facilities (so big queues at busy times); lots of checkout staff; and a fast turnover of fashion items. There are lots of basics: t-​shirts, jeans, and sports gear. Children’s clothes are especially cheap, and you can see how it helps families on tight budgets.
Part of the low price results from the fabrics used; polyester rather than pure new wool, for example. But the other quandary is clearly what kind of wages their suppliers are paying when the garments, produced in developing countries, are a quarter of the price of the equivalents in M&S and Bhs (who also source much of their stuff from developing countries).

A word of advice: Don’t EVER go to Primark on a Saturday. Like all Primarks, it’s huge, chaotic and packed and you’ll be rubbing shoulders with hundreds of other bargain-​hungry shoppers in what seems a race against time to bag those jeans.
Apart from the imminent headache that every self-​respecting Primark shopper acquires, it’ll all be worth it when you get home and unveil your pretty purchases to your housemates.
A few more things to take note of when partaking in the Primark mission are:
If possible don’t try anything on you’ll extend your time in the shop tenfold by queuing for changing rooms.
Patience is a virtue I’m sure that woman didn’t mean to barge into you in her quest to the underwear section she is on a mission just the same as you.
Don’t take your other half unless they are also on the hunt for a bargain they won’t thank you for it.

I actually like Primark. Some of the clothes on offer are really quite good, especially considering the price of the items, and so far I’ve never had a problem with items purchased here falling apart. The products here are very cheap — t-​shirts can cost as little as £3-​, which is perfect if you’re planning a night out in fancy dress, and don’t want to spend loads renting a costume you’ll only wear once. The queues can be a nightmare, but you should really expect that considering how budget everything sold here is.

I know it is CHEAP! It’s beyond cheap in fact but it doesn’t matter, it’s also bad quality! Many of my friends shop here and I understand, I do. I ‘ve often been tempted to just run in and dodge the piles of clothes, grab a huge wad of socks and queue for an hour to pay a pound for them… but I can’t get over the idea that with prices this low somebody somewhere must seriously be losing out. Not to mention that the shop seems to bring out the worst in people– everyone gets grabby, they buy more than they need and throw things on the floor rather than hang it up again. You know deep down that you are going to end up throwing most of it away and no charity shop can resell it so it’s just such a waste! You may have guessed that this place winds me up! Save up your money and spend it somewhere else!

I owe the obscene amount of times I was in this store to my girlfriend at the time and the fact that we lived within a 10 minute walk.
There isn’t anything in this store more than a tenner and I’m not ashamed to admit that I made a few purchases here. How could I not with these prices? Yea the clothes aren’t exactly high fashion but you get very good value for your money. With 3 levels it seems hard to imagine you could go in and not finding something you wanted and even harder to imagine that that item would be more than 5 quid.

i love primark for home stuff kids clothes my clothes and my hubby clothes. ive been to this shop once and loved it its a decent size. ok albeit cheap not always great quality but its great for a bargain when you have to buy a great chuck of items fora large family its a good shop that alot of people can afford and when kids grow so quickly why spend a huge amount on clothes that will only be used for a short amount of time.

I cant believe this place is currently ranked #2 shopping place in Brighton! That is terrible! Of all the lovely independent shops and boutiques in Brighton Lanes I cant believe Primark is coming up so high. This is mass produced chain store rubbish! Dont waste a trip to Brighton by going to Primark.

If, like me, you’re partial to a bit of rough every now and then, you’ll find satisfaction here.
Primark certainly is cheap, if nothing else. On your first visit you’ll find everything is less than half the price you guess. It’s the Lidl of clothing, so why not splash out twenty quid and spoil yourself with a ‘trolley dash’, as they used to call them on Supermarket Sweep. You’ll leave with enough socks and y-​fronts to keep you going for a month.
Seriously: Primark is great for those essentials, and the odd t-​shirt and pair of jeans won’t ruin your wardrobe. But if you’re contemplating a visit, you could take a moment to think of how they get their prices so low, and consider donating some of your savings to those poor people who work far too hard for far too little to bring you these bargains.

Primark used to be one of those guilty secrets that whenever you saw someone wearing something from there you’d give the owner a little knowing look. Those days are well and truly over and now Primark or ‘Pri marche’ as I like to call it is nothing to be ashamed of. And with even celebrities donning their clothes it’s time to say it loud ‘I’m in Primark and I’m proud’.
Without a doubt the cheapest high street store around they do really good high fashion clothes with many items looking like they could be from Topshop or French connection. It’s not just clothes though, shoes bags and accessories and even homeware. I changed my sheets to a ‘Primarni’ bedspread just thismorning!
