Magic

A newly appeared magic and party supplies shop on St James street, Magic is the sort of shop that I think would appeal to tween-​age boys. The façade is painted black, and inside there are lots of gruesome rubber mask heads lining the walls, for example a zombie with a hand in its mouth. They stock lots of trick card decks, and well as practical joke items like fake cigarettes, tea bags with laxatives in (I’m amazed that hasn’t been prohibited by some EU regulation), as well as magic lights and coloured contact lenses. It’s a great place to stock up on your magical supplies if that is a hobby of yours, or to pick up an interesting and different present for a young male relative. When I went in there was an incredibly nervous magician demonstrating a few tricks and some of the stock.
