A great place for a family lunch. Luckily we booked ahead as it was super busy but our waitress Chloe was brilliant. She was really busy but she took the time to chat to us and was great fun. The menu had so much to choose from that it was hard to choose. We had a mixture of main meals and some of us opted for the tapas style dishes as a main course. After sampling the tasty salad bar we were too full for dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here & would definitely come back.

Caution Unilocalers: risk of really bad experience. My wife, 6-year old and I went here for lunch on a quiet Friday to enjoy the view outside and because it advertised and unlimited salad bar. To eat outside you have to order at the bar(no problem). We ordered a chicken + baked potato, a chicken burger and pasta with cheese for our little guy. We took the table marker for our order and went outside. First problem: the table marker was filthy sticky. Gross. Then we went to the salad bar and it had a teeny bit of iceberg lettuce, canned beets, bagged shredded carrots, canned corn, you get the idea. Reminded me of the early salad bars in the US30 years ago. No real produce. Anyway, we figured we’d enjoy the view and chicken. But after 25 minutes I thought I should check and when I asked about our order they said«oh yeah. We will bring it right out». When it arrived the chicken was dry(almost like jerky — it had clearly been under a heat lamp for a long time) and the plates were dirty. Only the kiddie pasta was edible so the three if us shared it and left to snack elsewhere. Any place can have a bad day but be forewarned — both service and food warranted 1 star. On the positive side, the soft serve ice cream cone we got next was delicious!

Had breakfast here last Monday. Although the service was slow(there was a big group in there) it was friendly and polite. Had the full breakfast with an extra fried egg. Non-greasy, nice runny eggs, overall a very good breakfast. Had they served a sausage which was non-catering quality, this would have been been an excellent breakfast. Came with unlimited coffee refills. On the seafront, this Harvester offers a nice setting with reasonable prices. Will be back here again soon!

His all as I have a son with special needs I was looking for somewhere informal to eat at a reasonable cost. Well we were very pleasantly surprised not only did the waiting staff make my son feel important they went above and behind the norm ! Having sadly just come from the harvester at the marina village where the waiter was rude and arrogant !! A lovely experience all very lovely staff ! I shall definitely recommend it to my friends a super experience at a budget price Smiles all round, well done harvester marine parade

Iv been to the Madeire in Brighton on a couple of occasions in the past two years and have found it to be a great place to eat, on entering you are asked to book a table but you are not kept waiting to long usually about 20 minuets. This gives you time to order drinks from the bar, a well maintained bar with plenty of staff serving so you are quickly served. The bar is a little disappointing with no draft beers on tap but they do have a good selection of cask and bottled beers available. When you are called to your table your order is taken very quickly and you are told to help yourself at the well spread salad bar which is free to all diners, your meal is brought to your table usually within 15 minuets of ordering . The food served is well presented and the service by the waiting staff is very good. The menu consists of British dishes including steaks and burgers there is also a children’s menu available. And the pricing isn’t overly expensive. I would recommend this place to any one looking for somewhere to eat when in Brighton.

Harvester is a good family/student place to eat. With lots to offer from the menu and a free salad bar with any main meal you always get serious value for money. I have known someone order the cheapest main meal they can jut so that they could go mad on the salad bar which if you want to look after the pennies is a good idea. With outdoor seating which looks over Brighton beach and the Palace Pier the view is fantastic on a sunny day in the summer. A nice bottle of white wine would be what the doctor ordered at this point. The décor is modern and stylish so you do not feel like you are in a cheap restaurant which is quite often the case with similar establishments. The drinks are good prices as well so you can have a boozy meal with a few mates before a night out.

Having just spent a week working in Brighton, I needed to find somewhere to eat at a reasonable price, and as the Harvester was right opposite my hotel, i tried it 1st. 1st thing that attracted me was the Early Bird deal, which was a full meal at £4.99 anytime before 6:00pm. I had half a spit-roast chicken, corn on the cob and fries, plus unlimited visits to the salad bar. The food was very nice, and served quickly. The staff where all very pleasent and I ended up going there for the rest of the week, so would recommend to anyone staying in Brighton

For a cheap, filling meal you can’t go far wrong with a Harvester. From the unlimited salad cart to the huge meat platters, there’s something for everyone. This recently opened branch has very friendly staff and the environment is very relaxing and tastefully decorated.
