Emma Plus is a specialist plus-size women’s boutique. We sell UK sizes 18 – 34, and stock collections such as Anna Scholz, Elena Miro, Marina Rinaldi, and many others.
We have a highly experienced, friendly staff, and are able to offer a superb consultation service to our customers.
We undertake expert alterations on our garments, to ensure that everything that leaves our store fits beautifully… and most of the time these alterations are free.
We are situated in Brighton’s vibrant North Laine area… the centre for independent retailers in our city, and are placed next to a large, accessible car park. We are just round the corner from the railway station, and near to most bus routes.
Our shop is spacious and fully air-conditioned. We always welcome customer feedback, and have a forum/blog on our website (www.emmaplus.co.uk/forum).

Established in 1994.
There has been a plus-size designer womenswear store on this site for over 25 years. It has had a couple of incarnations, but has been Emma Plus since 1994.
The present owner is a plus-size woman herself, and is passionate about women’s fashion. The look of the clothes stocked reflect an edgy, fashion-forward approach.
Nowadays, it is very much a ‘destination store’ with customers travelling from all over the country to visit the shop, often dovetailing the trip with a stayover in the vibrant seaside city of Brighton…

The present owner, Emma, received a degree in design at Brighton University, and has always been passionate about art and design.
A large woman herself, she has built up a clientelle for her business that appreciates a designer-led fashion look.
Because she has been in the plus-size womanswear industry for many years, she has forged close relationships with those designers and ranges working in this area. This helps her to keep her finger on the pulse for the latest looks.
One of the exciting recent develpments have been her blog and forum, which are associated with her website. This has enabled her to provide a conduit between industy insiders and her customers.
