This is the uglier of the two university of brighton library buildings that I’ve encountered — you will probably have seen it if you travel up the lewes road — a tall brick based building with big glass windows. Although it’s not the nicest place to spend a cosy evening catching up on work, it does offer the best resources of the brighton uni libaries — here you’ll find generous desk space and IT facilities. It also offers the longest opening times, although the hours are reduced to 9 – 5 mon-​fri and 1 – 5 sun when it’s no term time.
