This is the firat time we went there(few weeks back), after noticing it from going to the new club just recently opened. The atmosphere is okay. The waitering service is excellent. we were looked after very well by the young man. The waiters in black looked astonshing. We had papodoms and pickles and were guided to try the big Bengal Special starter(serves 2) which actually was quite good. For mains we were again guided by the waiter to try the house special Thaali and Chicken Pasanda(mild for my wife). I must say the food was not all that good! there was something missing from it, not the normal Indian taste you would expect to find in an Indian curry. The Thaali was great in quantity but the quality was very dull, no taste at all! We always eat Indian but this has put us off! Chicken Pasanda was mild as we were advised so but it wasn’t how we expected to be. Going to the sundries, we had a Garlic Nan, which was hard, couldn’t eat all of it. Egg Fried Pilau Rice was good, infact it was better than the main meal. Chapati’s were okay but not fresh. We were offered a complementry drink but we didn’t have it. Over all we wouldn’t go back unless the food quality increases. May be we would try it again after a year and see if it has improved. The bill was a lot for the food quality, we normally don’t do this but we had to take the bill to verify.
