History

Established in 2015.

Tail ‘N’ Whiskers was established in 2015 by Helen, an ex primary school teacher. Helen has always wanted to work with animals and after reading so many stories about pets been given up due to their owner’s busy lives, she decided that she would offer a service to provide care for pets, helping to reduce the number that are put up for adoption each year. Using her background in animal psychology and her many years experience owning animals, Tails ‘N’ Whiskers was established.

Business Owner

Growing up, Helen showed a love for all animals from a very early age. She dreamed of being a vet or owning her own kennels and cattery. However, she lost sight of this ambition and went to university to complete a degree in psychology. After completing her degree, Helen went on to train to be a teacher. After more that 10 years in the classroom, Helen finally left to pursue her lifelong dream of working with animals and is now studying to be a clinical canine psychologist.
