PAY-​AS-​YOU-​SAVE — a new way for owners and tenants to pay for home improvements

Millions of homes throughout the country are in a condition that would benefit from the installation of energy saving improvements which in turn would reduce their electricity and gas usage, reduce carbon emissions and result in warmer, healthier homes.

To get you started you will need a Green Deal Assessment, a survey of your home, which will produce the personal recommendations you need to benefit from the Green Deal. That’s where we come in!

Green Deal finance enables householders to get energy saving measures installed in their homes for little or no up-​front cost, and lets you pay for some or all of the improvements over time through your electricity bill — because everyone has one of those.

Repayments are likely be no more than what a typical household should save in energy costs. The Green Deal ‘Golden Rule’, set out in legislation, specifies that the repayment charge on the electricity bill must be less than the expected savings.

There are currently over 50 measures available through the Green Deal, including insulation, heating and renewable energy technologies.

Green Deal & ECO Awards April 2014

The Regional Green Deal & ECO Awards cover three specific categories and were presented to one individual or organisation in each of the 11 represented regions of Great Britain at a local event in April. The two runners-​up were presented with a certificate. All entrants for the regional awards were put forward for consideration for the shortlist of ten nominees for the National Awards in these categories.

As a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Green Deal Advisor, I can produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Floor-​plans and Photos in-​house. This is a real benefit to Clients because it means they get the complete service and all the advice they need, whether; buying, selling, renting or letting, from one firm.
