Quality Italian food in a nice atmosphere.
Four of us went here and everyone loved what they had. When was the last time four of your friends went somewhere, ate different things, and all were happy with it? Maybe that’s normal for you but for me it’s unusual for me.

Love this place. The people and the food are brilliant. Great atmosphere.

Nice neighbourhood restaurant. Good atmosphere with attentive service that didn’t try to rush you out the door.
Mussels in white wine was a good starter — plenty of plump fresh tasting mussels and enough sauce to flavour. Lamb in a red wine and rosemary sauce was tasty and well seasoned. Would have preferred the lamb to be cooked pink as it was a little overdone.
Passed on dessert but the coffee was spot on.
Will definitely be back. Not outstanding but enjoyable, relaxed and friendly.

Great Italian restaurant, good food well priced, lovely atmosphere.

I was really very impressed with Tarantino. Not sure if this is the same owner as the restaurant of the same name in Hornchurch? The portions are really big here so make sure to bring your appetite too! The service and ambience was very authentic Italian. All the Italian classics and favourites you would expect are on the menu and our food was really decent throughout from starters to dessert. The choice of wines is above average too. Prices are pretty average for a restaurant of this high standard. I would most certainly come again either for a ramntic meal for two or a bigger group occasion.

Really good Italian restaurant, off Brentwood high street. It is much more unknown as it does not have the location of other restaurants, but has very good quality and reasonably priced food. The atmosphere benefits from the fact it is not a chain restaurant, as are most of the restaurants in Brentwood. Typical range of Italian foods. The food is tasty and well seasoned. Good prices and huge portions. Don’t usually need to book during the week, probably best to at weekends. Definitely recommended.

First of all I would just like to say that this is the best Italian restaurant we have been to in UK. Last Summer it was packed out every night of the week. This summer it’s still really full. We think when it was packed out, it was because the best chef was there. This summer its still a fantastic chef but the brother maybe of the one they had last year (?). Look, its all much of a muchness because its owned by a large Italian family and they just rotate the chefs as they have 3 establishments, including one in Somerset!
Their basic tomato sauce recipe is made by an Italian and so you can be assured he hasn’t cut any corners in the long and drawn-​out process of proper tomato sauce reduction, using the freshest ingredients and extra virgin oil
The food served here is bursting with fragrant basil and garlic. We recommend the gorgeous side salads using excellent quality beefy vine tomatoes.
We visit this place for birthdays and long-​lost re-​unions.
tip: portions are large so make sure you can undo your trousers easily as you’ll need to make extra room… lol
