Lovely food, friendly staff, nice décor & plenty of space too so no knocking elbows with other diners!!!

This used to be a good quality restaurant but lately has been a bit hit and miss. Good atmosphere, good menu but service can be slow and food can be less than inspiring. Management need to get to grips and return this place to where it used to be.

Sadly disappointing although highly rated by others. Expensive restaurant so high quality and service levels were expected. The interior is rather bland, feels like you are sitting in someones dining room rather than a restauarant. Service was not impressive; served by various young members of staff none of whom knew what the the others had asked/​taken orders for/​delivered etc. Conversation was difficult as constantly being interrupted by the staff. Our table was also positioned near the kitchen so subjected to staff constantly walking back and forth past our table. Had to request water on numerous occassions before finally receiving. Food was good but not exceptional. Not worth the money.

I don’t understand the other review for this place. I’ve been a few times and always have a really good time. Good food and friendly staff. It is quite expensive but I would go again.

We went to this restaurant for a 50^th birthday after seeing a couple of bad reviews and giving them the benefit of the doubt as I had eaten there a couple of times in the past. I wish we hadn’t the reviews were spot on!
Poor service, cold food and when we commented nothing has been done. I have now emailed the manager twice for an explaination and an apology for the dreadful service but have still received no reply. What was a nice restaurant seems to have been taken over by greed. The food was expensive and frankly not up to what they charged for it. Sauces were lacking and meat was tough and of a poor standard and food came out cold. A shame, but I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to go somewhere special.
