We had just walked miles over near Hebden Bridge and decided to get a curry on the way home. Initially we had thought that Akbars had their all-you-can-eat deal on, but it wasn’t so took a drive down Leeds road to see what we could find.
Stopped here as Rich had had a nice work’s do here.
Looks like a café from outside, but is surprisingly large inside.
Really lovely poppadoms with carroway seeds in.
main was far too spicy for me, but very tasty nonetheless.
Rich and Dave were happy with theirs.
Beware the super pricey Cobras! £5.50 for a large one! They soon add up!

Walking in you can see the whole kitchen open to the customers inspection, it’s very clean. Saying the décor is contemporary is an understatement, it’s got style. The beer brewed in Casablanca was a nice change too. Some dishes I hadn’t seen before and the waiter was very helpful offering recommendations. A fast and friendly service throughout my meal. This felt like a much more refined dining experience than Akbar’s a few doors down, though their food is also very good. In summary– I’ll be back the next time I’m in Bradford-very good all round.

Found zouk because of good reviews and was not let down. The place is small but with a good atmosphere and nice open plan kitchen where you food is prepared. We took advice from the owner who took the time to put together a great tasting meal. The place was packed so this personal touch together with the tasty food makes zouk a recommended restaurant. Prices reasonable. Spotless kitchen and eating area. May need to book at weekends. A really nice place.

I love this place!!! Its just too good, I lived in london for a couple of years been to all the best restaurants nobu, zuma, hakkasan, mint leaf. you name it i’ve been there but have to say this beats them all, delicious food and deserts, great layout, great atmosphere there really is nothing this place doesnt have. you guys need to go global!!!

As others have said the food is a delight. All freshly prepared and you can see the cooking being done at all times. I had chicken biryani for my main course and it came in a huge terracotta pot. I filled my plate, put a load onto my partners plate and still had enough for seconds for myself. Fabulous value for money. Their mango lassi is gorgeous and my daughter was delighted with her chocolate milkshake.
I was a little disappointed with my seating as I could only get out of my chair when the man behind moved but that is a minor blip.
What I really was astonished about was that they had maximised capacity by putting a table and chairs right in front of the fire exit which also partially blocked the disabled ramp to the higher level.

This placed opened in 2007. Since then it has gone from strength to strength.
Recently extending it has captured a market that others have decided to follow. Not of the sterotypical curry house, but of a styish restaraunt with a western feel.
The food is amazing too with a modern twist on stylish classics.
For a different dining experience with quality authentic asian food, give it a go!

The food at Zouk is extremely fresh and fabulous, making the palate feel like it is alive. Every taste sensation gets your brain looking for the ingredient it came from — a real pleasure.
Fantastic mean & wonderful service, staff really took care of us. Will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I really like this restaurant. Very chilled out during the day time and has a good atmosphere in the evening. The food is fantastic — last time we went we had one of the lamb dishes and the meat was incredibly tender.
Staff are really friendly and attentive.
I would definitely recommend Café Zouk. If you can go on a week night rather than a weekend I would think you’ll enjoy your meal more as it is more relaxing and you can spend the whole evening there — whereas on a weekend it is very busy and you might feel more pressure to leave after finishing your meal.

Came here with people from work at busy time on a Saturday night, great service, really quick and good was very good. would recommend the sea bass
