16 screens always something good on. Well worth purchasing a unlimited card to save money if you’re a frequent customer. In a prime location with restaurants and the town center near by.

As this is specifically for Bradford my review will be mostly specifically about the Bradford cineworld. This cinema is a nice sized spacious cinema. There is full disabled access, and the seats are comfortable and reasonably large. The main problem I have with this cineworld is how long it takes to get served. The ticket office is reasonably quick but the concessions stand is ridiculously slow. It doesn’t matter if theres two people in the queue or 20, it takes the same amount of time to get served. In a place where time is pretty imporant I don’t understand this but its not a huge issue as you don’t have to go to the concessions if you don’t want to.
Bradford has recently brought itself into the 3d dimension by turning its deluxe screeninto a 3d screen. This is pretty good. Not only do you get the hugely comfortable deluxe seats but you also get a great 3d cinema experience. You have to buy the glasses but as long as you keep them you will only have to buy them once.

Save your money and go to another cinema.
For a start parking is no longer free, unless you get there after 630pm. Go to a cinema with free parking!
The food is very expensive, as with most cinemas.
When you get into the food more often than not you will get someone talking all the way through, or even taking a phone call. They never seem to get caught as they shut up for the brief moment someone comes in to check.

Cineworld is a large multi-​screen complex housed in a new shopping centre just a couple of minutes walk from Bradford town centre.
It shows all the latest releases as well as several Bollywood films so there really is something for everyone.
Nearby in the complex you’ll find several restaurants including Pizza Hut etc so you won’t be short of finding somewhere to eat before the movie.
There is also a bowling alley and arcade nearby so you can really make a night of it!
The only downside to Cineworld is the fact that it IS so close to Bradford town centre, so you inevitably sometimes get a small crowd of idiots and trouble-​makers who will talk, shout and generally act like fools throughout the film.
Parking is free as long as you remember to get your parking ticket stamped when you buy your cinema tickets.

Probably the easiest cinema to get to if you are in the Bradford area. It is situated near the centre and has loads of other facilities to take advantage of while you are there.
There is a Pizza Hut, Franky and Benny’s and a mexican restraunt. There is also a bowling alley and a hotel.
This is a multiplex cinema with many screens, so you can normally get to see a film at a time to suit you.
The only downside is that it does get busy, especially if you are watching a brand new film.

This cinema is in a dead handy area, as you can just hop off a bus at the interchange and its about a minutes walk away. The entrance area is massive, i’m not so sure why it’s so big as whenever i’ve been there its never full. They have what you would expect from any decent cinema, selection of sweets popcorn and drinks etc. The prices are a little on the high side but I kind of expect that in any cinema really. What’s going for Cineworld is that its surrounded by a couple of really nice restaurants and a bowling alley too so the fun doesn’t have to end after the flick is over. Plus, there’s a huge multistorey car park. The staff here are ok but in my opinion should be more welcoming.

I enjoy visiting the Cineworld in Bradford despite what some of the reviewers on here are writing. I would probably not be classed as a regular as I have been around 10 times but I think that gives me fair reason to review the place.
The ticket price is around £6 for adults and they then proceed to fleece you unequivocally on the food and drinks. But the real thing about a cinema and the reason we all go is to watch films, and on this front Cineworld is excellent. There are numerous screens so it is always possible to see the new releases and they are large screens with very comfy seats.

This cinema is located at the Bradford Leisure Exchange, and is next to some restaurants (Nando’s, Frankie and Benny’s, The Real China (buffet)) a Hilton Hotel, a casino and the Hollywood Bowling alley. It is not that busy on weekdays or even Tuesdays. If you’re interested in Bollywood movies, this cinema has a great selection. The go unlimited monthly plan is just £17 a month, which is well worth it if you plan to watch more than 3 movies in a month. There is also an annual plan which is £143.88, which is £12 a month. As usual, the food and drinks in this cinema is pretty expensive and the vendering machines cost £2 for a small bottle of coke!

The wost cinema in area! It’s now looks run-​down and is in dire need of a face lift. I can’t understand why it has such a huge entrance area and the prices they charge for popcorn, sweets, drinks, nachos and hot dogs is outragous (that said, this is the same for even great cinemas). I recently went to see Wall-​E and they played the Presto preview short out of focus and off centre and the start of Wall-​E out of focus for ten minutes. I asked for a refund and they said write to their head office. If Vue, Oden and Showcase have done this before I’ve got an instant refund or free ticket. The place always smells bad (down to the nachos and hot dogs embedded into the carpets I think). They also seem to have no policy of ejecting trouble makers, talkers or mobile phone users. It’s a real shame as this could have been great for Bradford but i know so may people who won’t go here and go to the Odeon or the Vue in Leeds.

This is a very big cinema — better than the old odeon even though the building isnt as good. There are loads of screens each showing a different film and some showing bollywood films too. There is a special screen called the deluxe that costs about a quid more and it is more spacious with the leg room and the chairs are comfier. The deluxe has its own waiting area and bar and toilets. The cinema gets very busy but it is well staffed and there are plenty fo security about. The prices are a bit steep but they do concessions too. The food to take in with you is also very pricey but they are adding vending machines too so there is the cheaper option too. There are also some gaming machines in the main lobby to go on while you wait and a main bar. The place is quite clean and tidy but the toilets really smell of sewerage and have done since it first opened. The staff are usually friendly.

Standard cinema — selling overpriced drinks and confectionary in a poorly manned foyer which would benefit from some more staff! On the plus side, the cinema seats are comfy, and the number of screens makes the choice of film quite good.

Standard chain cinema, shows all your usual films and has a typically corporate feel about it. On the plus side its normally clean, doesn’t take too long to queue for tickets and they accept NUS cards for discounts.

a huge cinema with about 14 screens one of which is a deluxe screen which is a bit dearer but more comfier. The deluxe screen has its own bar and toilet and waiting area with comfy seats so you dont have to fight for a seat outside in the main auditorium. The films are usually the usual just released selection but sometimes they do bring some oldies back for you to watch. They also do a kiddies day on saturday morning for £1 but it starts at such an early time like 9am which is too early. They show bollywood films too which is where they get most of their trade i think as these films do look very popular. The cinema itself is kept clean but could do with a little bit of a facelift as it looks a bit dowdy at the moment. They do a selection of the normal popcorn and coke drinks which are very extortionate but they do seem to get lots of customers queuing for them. They also do a cheaper kids box but it isnt really good value. The film prices are quite dear but they do offer bargain days and a card which gives you unlimited films for a monthly fee.

Huge complex, no atmosphere, rowdy, noisey audiences. OK if you don’t mind rude people talking whilstthe film’s on. Not my cup of tea, but it does show all the usual ‘blockbusters’ and also a selection of Bollywood and kids showings

Average cinema. Some of the screens smell funny.

based in the busy leisure exchange this cinema gets very busy at times so be prepared to queue for the more popular films
there are 16 screens, one of which is deluxe for which you pay about a quid more but it does have its own toilet facilities and a bar which isnt normalls stocked and you do have to go out to main bar and order from there which is quite a hassle. the deluxe is comfier and you get more leg room but not many films are shown on it
the cinema has full disabled access and spaces for wheelchair users down the bottom of the screens.
the screens are quite large and there are up to date speakers and hearing loops in mostthe seats are quite comfy but not much leg room
ticket prices vary on which time and day you go but are usually about £5 for kids and students and about £6 for adults, except on wednesdays when most tickets are about £3 for kids and £4 for adults
you can buy a card that gives you unlimited monthly access for about £17 which if you are a frequent cinemagoer it is well worth it
the food/​drink is quite dear but they have just alately began adding cheaper versions of icecreams and vending machines for bottles of pop, which is much better.
the staff are always on hand and there are security guards about incase you want help dealing with unruly ignorant cinemagoers. they do a check every so often in each screen which helps

Part of a national chain it is housed within a complex that includes restaurants, a bowling alley, hotels and a casino. All the big films are shown here but it also does Bollywood films. Mondays and Tuesdays are cheaper than the rest of the week but Saturday mornings Movie Mob is an astonishing £1 for children and adults alike. Granted the films are aimed at the kids and they are usually older films but it’s still worth it especially if you have a larger family.
The normal cinemas are comfortable with springy seats and booster seats for the smaller children. The deluxe cinema is not vastly different but the seats are even springier and you can pull the seat arms up to snuggle up if you wish. It also has it’s own toilets just outside so that you aren’t traipsing down the corridor to pay a visit.
They sell all the usual refreshments at highly inflated prices but on a positive note if you get your car park ticket stamped when you pay the parking is free. Not a lot of people know that!
(Just found out this week that as from the end of March 2009 the car parking is no longer free for Cineworld customers. Therefore I am much less likely to use it when there are two other cinemas that have free car parks attached to them).

Does have cheaper days — I think on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so it’s worth looking in to that if you are thinking of going.
As you would expect, refreshments are pretty pricey.
