Was a bit dubious if I’m honest but computer arrived on time, well packaged. Had it all set up in an hour and was away! Would defo recommend. Only point I would make is that I wouldn’t recommend that the delivery company leave things like this on the doorstep, especially where I live! Luckily for them my Son arrived as they were pulling away!

It is the second desktop I have buy from CCL I’m very happy with them they work perfect. Thank you.

I purchased a Gigaybte laptop from CCL, and was impressed with the efficiency of their next day delivery. I received several notices regarding order confirmation and dispatch times, and the courier then texted me with tracking info, and delivered exactly on time.
However, when it arrived, it turned out that the specification listed on the site did not match what came in the box (no mini display port). Some research indicated that this is a problem that other sellers have also had with this new stock (Amazon, for example), where the manufacturer did not update specs upon shipment, so I thought CCL may have been given the wrong info too, and not yet realised.
I contacted CCL immediately, expecting to have to fight it out with them (given the notorious reputation of online computer sellers), but they said it was not my fault if I didn’t get what was specified online, and promptly organised collection for the following day, no questions asked.
My return was processed very quickly — I went from day of purchase on Monday to confirmation of refund by Friday 3pm. Just can’t ask better than that.
Before purchasing the laptop, I called CCL to confirm other specs, and also called to twice confirm the details of the return. Every time I called, they answered promptly, and were professional and courteous throughout.
I have seen other people comment that they didn’t get email confirmation from their order — I wonder if this is because they put their email in wrong (as the form does not require a confirmation of email typed inl)? I found their communication during the process to be impeccable.
The courier, though great on delivery, did fail to make contact during the first pickup round, but CCL swiftly got in touch with them and they came back a few hours later. Not ideal, but couriers these days are universally terrible (and overworked), I’m not sure CCL can do a lot about that. They seem to have picked the best of a bad bunch, and are willing to work on your behalf to get items where they are meant to be, at the right time.
Another complaint I have seen on here regards the pickup times, but I think people are being unreasonable in some cases: like any online store, you have to order before 4pm Friday if you want a Monday pickup. Orders won’t be processed over the weekend, as office staff aren’t there to do things like confirm payments and write up invoices or receipts. You have to check whether the item is in stock in store for pickup, not just in stock. It’s all clear on the website if you read the relevant info, although on the initial listing screen, the green ticks could be somewhat misleading. You just need to double check availability on the actual item page.
Finally, PLEASE bear in mind that if you are buying computer parts, it is your job to know whether the parts are compatible. Totally unreasonable to expect to open up sensitive hardware to check whether it works with incompatible parts (as some complaints have stated)! Like every single tech shop ever, it’s not CCL’s fault if you don’t know what you are doing! Their advice does not replace your own knowledge, and with something as expensive as motherboard, processor, or graphics card, if you don’t know what you are doing, don’t do it. I think it’s really unfair to blame them if you’ve opened up a bit of hardware that isn’t compatible, and expect them to wear the (high) cost of your ignorance.
I would definitely use these guys again — I’m actually a bit sad that the laptop with the specs I need is not on offer from them. I would recommend to anyone.

COMPANY HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN!!! I have been a loyal customer for a very long time and fairly satisfied as i have used this company for personal and business use. PROBLEM 1 Bought 4 Epson (Crappy) BX600FW printers and they all stopped printing eventually. Very poor after care as they were still within their warranty and was told that i would have to liaise with Epson as this would be quicker. I declined and told them to deal with the matter and after 8 weeks got 2 of my printers back and they still did not work properly! In the end cut my losses and bought new printers from ELSEWHERE! PROBLEM 2 Spoke to someone at their ’ Customer Service’ (i use the term very loosely) desk and told them i needed a server. Was told to email spec to them and they would price it for me. What they forgot to tell me and i should have asked was ‘how long it would take?’. Despite several emails chasing and apologies for not getting back to me and it would be done ‘in a few days!’, still no spec. I complained and was told a manager would call me back to discuss, but as you have guessed NO RESPONSE. Wasted 2 months dealing with these BUFFOONS!!!

OK, now this is the place you need for all your IT and computing needs. The staff is knowledgable and helpful. Some items can be picked up at bargain prices even cheaper then web prices. Also, you get the option of being able to view the actual product before you buy. Great deals on backup hard /​storage drives last time we were in there.

I’ve always used CCL whenever I’m in a hurry and need spares for my computer quickly. As I live close by, I use the call and collect service which is fast and I’ve never had any problems with this service. My only complaint is the 2.5% surcharge when paying for items on a credit card, (debit cards are free), as this is the payment method most people will use when collecting.

use these guys for all my computer stuff — excellent advice — always deliver on time — call/​collect service is great (to jump the queues!)
their returns section is top class to — they’ll test the products you’re having issues with and event show you it on a test bench, then give you advice on configuring it etc with your own rig

CCL Computers has been selling computers and components in Bradford for several years and has flourished from a backstreet to a large retail outlet and successful website.
CCL started off selling mainly to trade, and this still shows, you have to queue (sometimes for a LONG time), place your order, and then wait again while they pick the items and then call your name out, where you go and queue again to pay and collect!
It sounds worse than it probably is (unless you go on a Saturday morning), and it’s definitely worth it just for the huge discounts you’ll enjoy. Compare the prices with any other high-​street retail store and you’ll be glad that you went to CCL.
If you order from the website, some items have free delivery, which can’t be bad can it!

If you’re either building your own PC or want one of their pre-​builds or you are after any PC peripheral under the sun then this is the place to go. They have been around for a good number of years and they have the best technical support I have ever had. They offer great priced OEM items and their knowleged of computer problems is secon-​to-​none. I know people who come from miles away to use CCL and they also have a great website and delivery service. If you are building your own and you’re not totally sure on compatibility of the items you need just give them a call and they’ll point you in the right direction. They have also recently branched out into the gadget, HD TV and Games Console arena making them total all rounders.

This is an absolute godsend for computer gear. The stuff they sell is the cheapest prices you can get hold of in bradford and you can also order them over the net and have them delivered instead of going up there. The prices are really good and the quality is absolutely topnotch. They have bits and bots for your computer that you find hard to get — from the bits that go inside the computer to additional ram and extra hardware. They will also advice you in how to go ahead and fit the things you have bought. The staff are lovely and they are very reliable.

This place is second to none for mail order of computers, software, hardware and everything else in this genre. Because they don’t worry about having a fancy looking store you won’t pay Pc World prices and the advice is excellent. Products are rarely packaged in a snazzy manner — they come in plain looking function-​orientated packaging.
I have bought components to build several computers with from here as well as countless additional bits and pieces to keep my machine going. The service is highly efficient and invariably you receive your order very quickly indeed, and you can track an order too. CCL keep you informed by email and text message so you know when your goods are coming.
If you don’t want to pay delivery charges you can collect your stuff too.
I baulk at the prices on the high street after shopping here and wouldn’t consider using anyone else now.
