Allans Bacon & Cheese

It’s a great little shop, and I often find myself in there. The best bargain is the mature cheddar, which is cheaper than you will find in any supermarket, and far tastier (but seems not to last as long).
The staff are really friendly, and are happy to be asked about their products.
Oh, and the giant cookies are heavenly.

This shop is situated in the main shopping street in Southbourne, there is restrictive access for wheel chairs but they will come out to serve someone if required. They are very busy during the lunchtime hours selling their shop made rolls and sandwiches, these are often constructed while you wait, with the rolls having been baked that morning, delicious. They also sell a lot of their shop made pies, which include savory and sweet and can be heated to take away. There is a selection of cold meats and cheeses for you to purchase by the slice or pound and there are also eggs, bacon & cold drinks. The staff are extremely helpful and will construct any combination of sandwich/​roll as long as they have the ingredients.
