Perfect little sandwich bar, bakery, and café with a great vibe and super friendly staff. Definitely a gem on the Borehamwood high street. I’ve frequently walked past it, not giving it a second thought, often lamenting that there’s nothing but sub par chains and takeaway joints on the high street; but on this particular day, we were lucky to have a patron of the café recommend it, as my friend and I hesitantly stood outside, craving some brunch and drinks after yoga. The inside of café’s cute… like if a deli and cute bakery had a baby. There’s a great variety of sandwiches, baked goods, deli foods, and drinks at really reasonable prices, and by that, I mean cheaper than average chainy goods. And an added bonus? They serve iced coffee, which I often crave when away from home. Since moving here from San Francisco, I haven’t really found many cafes that offer iced coffee, except for the random hot days. I ordered lox and red onion on a poppyseed bagel and an iced coffee, while my friend had a chocolate croissant and strawberry milkshake. Everything was delicious, and we enjoyed our light meal sitting in sunshine.

This family run coffee shop and patisserie has the tastiest filled rolls on the high street. The cakes and pastry items are simply to die for. They have a master pastry chef working for them who has years of experience and it shows in the quality of the pastries they sell. Their service is second to none. Despite the high quality goods they sell, they are quite a bit cheaper than the competition on the high street. Probably why they are always so busy. A must for anyone visiting Elstree(BBC and film studios).
