Nice community Primary school, has strong ties to the church of the same name, only has one class of each year group and entry is controlled by catchment area. Gets consistantly good ofsted reports and the majority of the teachers are popular with current and former pupils alike. The school has two former sites within the village, the original is now known as the ‘old Post Office’ and is a private home on Bradshaw road, the second is now the ‘Old School House’ pub and restaurant beside the church itself. The school building suffered some fire damage in the early 90’s and was rebuilt in the same style shortly after.
