Specialties
Our aim is to provide a comfortable, attractive and welcoming environment — a pub in the community, for the community.
We serve food as well as drink. We cater for all; be it a meal for one or a booking for thirty.
Try a pint of our real ale, we are in CAMRA’s good beer guide and are Cask Marque accredited.
History
Established in 1998.
This Wetherspoon pub is named after the invention which revolutionised the cotton industry.
The spinning mule’ was the brainchild of Samuel Crompton, who was born on the outskirts of Bolton in 1753. However, he received just £50 for his invention. Since 1862, Nelson Square has been fronted by a statue of Samuel Crompton.
