B R West Mot Centre

My mot was due next week and i mentioned to one of my collegues who reccomended Br west to me. I am a very cautious person so decided to google them and found their website
I then read some of the reviews and thought i would call them. I called them and told them when my mot was due and the owner was very helpful, he explained when i could come in and gave me a list of options which included a quick mot whilst i waited or if i prefferred to drop off and collect later. I chose to do a quick mot while i waited. When i got there (it is a little hard to find if you havent been before or dont know the area, access to the garage is via a narrow street behind rileys snooker hall on blackburn road), When i got there i was given the option to view my mot from the viewing area or wait in the waiting area i had a quick look at the waiting area and saw the latest edition to hello, ok and cosmo! and decided to wait in the waiting area! soon my mot was done and passed I had a couple of advisorys which the owner cleary explained and advised and what i could do. I would reccommend this to any one who wishes to do their Mot. I had a long chat with the owner as he is local and been there for 15 years and i was shocked as i live in the area and never knew it existed!
The owner explained that they only do Mot’s hence are always busy with Mots, they do not do major repairs on site hence it removes the whole fear of being conned to do a major repair when you dont need it which is a well known con and everyones fear!

I have been having my MOT done here for the last 6 years, my daughter also gets her MOT done here. I have always found BR west to be reliable and honest and they have always provided me with a good service. In fact the first time i came here was after a bad experience at a national chain who wanted me to replace £500 worth of parts before they could do my MOT. I came to Br west after a friend reccomended them and illy the head MOT tech showed me all the parts which supposedly i had to replace and they were all fine! illy advised me on the safety of the vehicle and issued me my MOT

Friendly little garage round the back of the pool hall off Blackburn Road. Was great when I popped in on the off chance that they could have a look at my car after part of its exhaust system had come loose. Despite my not having booked it in they called to say it was fixed just a couple of hours later and charged me a very reasonable price for the service I especially as I then couldnt collect the car until the following afternoon and they dont have a particularly large parking area around the site. They also advertise MOT’s with a free retest, though this is common, while I was there they had at least 8 other cars pass through and four mechanics at work. Highly recommended.
