Cheap fruit and veg– and I mean CHEAP. I challenge you to spend a fiver on loose produce here. Way better value than chain supermarkets, and even better value than Birmingham City Centre market. The stuff isn’t always top quality, but as you’re handpicking everything yourself this is usually fine. Inside they have pretty much every Indian spice that you could ask for, along with all of the essential groceries. Not a place to do your weekly shop but it’s good enough to draw me out of the city to get my fresh produce at bargain prices. If you want to pay by card you need to spend a fiver– so try my challenge ;)
