Offering an impressive range of high quality meats at even more impressive prices, this friendly local butcher’s shop is one of the best in Kingstanding by far. Unlike most butcher’s, Walter Smith’s is open of a Sunday from 10am-​4pm and its extensive range of meats and cut-​price, bulk-​buy offers is difficult to match.
The store is pleasantly clean on the inside and its displays are always well laid-​out and incredibly enticing. Seldom seen delicacies are available on cut-​price offers and the store’s selection of seasoned burgers and sausages during the summer months is second to none. On a recent visit, I purchased 3 trays of ready-​to-​cook peri peri chicken for just £5! The meat is always of a good standard, the staff are friendly and the store’s wide range of great deals is simply superb. Highly recommended.
