I walk through Pavillions almost everyday when I’m in town. It’s between to M&S and Waterstones. It’s a shopping centre with lots of shops. Some shop spaces been empty for as long as I can remember.
There is a big food court top floor which does great homemade cooking. It reminds me of university canteen. I’ve been before for breakfast. Food is not bad.
During my Graduation time, I needed a suit and my friend reccomended Moss which is located on ground level opposite H&M. They have good selections and quite cheap from other places I’ve been.
There is also Subway on the other side and National Express shop if you want get your bus pass or travell coach ticket

The place needs shops! I was in there for the delightful Arts & Crafts Fair where the stall holders have space in the ample walkways. There was never a time where the place was ‘busy’ except at lunch time when everyone went past to go upstairs to the still popular food court.
But why no shops? Most of the floor as you walk in from the High Street is empty. With HMV long gone, others are following. This is prime spot, on the High Street, next to the Bullring and M&S. In fact, if it wasn’t for there being an entrance to M&S through this shopping centre, I doubt I’d every walk through here.
There were no posters about this monthly market either and to say the shopping centre is letting itself down by zero promoting is an under statement.
It’s a lovely, well-​located, clean building with good facilities. Why is no-​one selling this?

The Pavilions used to be a go to destination in Birmingham City Centre with a number of high street chain and stores.
So it such a shame to see the Pavilions mostly empty. There are still some flagship stores (H&M, Waterstones and Marks and Spencer) and if it wasn’t for these and the food hall upstairs, I fear that the centre wouldn’t have any commercial drive.
It would be great for the centre to really rethink its purpose and get an identity. Crucially there’s plenty of opportunity for pop up space and retail. I guess much depends on rates and costs.
As it stands, the Pavilions is sadly being swallowed up but everything around it and it needs a refocus on what it is that can attract people to it!

The Pavilions used to be a good shopping centre worth a look round. Before they refurbished it used to be a nice little shopping centre but ever since they refurbished it went down hill and fast. Today H&M, Waterstones and M&S are really the only shops left in it. Dont get me wrong though it you choose to come here visit the food court it has lots of choice and the prices are reasonable. Apart from the food court and the shops mentioned there is not much point in visiting this shopping centre. The bullring next door is far superior to what is the pavilions. If you want my general opinion this shopping centre despretatley needs redevelopment its really the only way forward.

The Pavillons is a shopping centre, located quite close to the Bullring, nestled between H&M and HMV. It’s clean and well presented but still lacking in atmosphere as many units remain unused. I was sad to see that jewellery store Azendi had closed. They had many nice pieces and, apart from Wysteria Lane (great gift shop) and L’Occitane (posh smellies), were my only reason for visiting the mall.

The Pavilions is decent, i only used to head here for the food court but in the past few years people have chosen to eat in different places leaving the food court empty.
The only shops still standing here are chain stores, and when you walk past so many empty glass windows its hard not to remember the state of the English high street.
The food court seems to get more and more expensive but some companies still offer great meal deals.
Not really worth going inside, all the better shops has bigger stores in the bullring and all the best stalls are long gone.

The Pavilions — how I used to love you, and your bizarre ginormous HMV that used to feel like a music and film dream come true, but now with adult eyes looks like a shoplifter’s paradise (with the many many doors in and out — how on earth do they manage?!)
They’re suffering the same fate as the high street with too many empty shops inside. but the shops they HAVE managed to hang onto are decent, albeit chain stores. I visited a month or so ago to grab some food from the food court at the top — not sure what possessed me, though I was ecstatic to discover amongst the fried and baked potato people a strange salad stall which did me 2 veggie samosas and a massive salad and drink for around a fiver. That made me happy and full. Hurrah!

Hier findet man Bücher, Videospiele und Musik auf 4 Stockwerken in Form der Ketten Waterstones, Zavvi und HMV. Beratung ist gut, Preise sind okay. Im oberen Stockwerk kann man recht gut und günstig essen.
Auch der Pavilion Central ist gleich beim Bahnhof und Bullring, wenn man also einen ganzen Tag mit Einkaufen verbringen will, kann man zuerst zum Bullring und dann hierher zuerst was essen und dann CDs schmöckern. So habe ich jedenfalls so manche Tage hier verbracht.

It has a few decent shops in, so you may want to have a wonder over. It is close to the bullring, so its not too hard to find. I think the Disney shop may be in this centre, so well worth a look! There is a big café on the top floor that sells reasonably priced meals, I have been there quite a few times, the food is quite nice.

This is also popularly know as ‘the loft’. A bit on the pricey side (for a student anyway!) but you can choose from a nice variety — fish and chips, jacket potatoes, pizzas, lasagne’s and Chinese. There is always plenty of seating and you can sit wherever you like, not just near the outlet you buy from. The service is always quick and friendly, and there are a small selection of drinks shops such as Druckers to have a post-​meal tea/​coffee from.

The Pavillions Shopping Centre is well worth a look when visiting Uxbridge. There is an indoor market that offers good value for money and the same stall holders are there week after week. I particularly like the Entertainer, a big Toy shop, as it’s spacious and offers value for money. The Pavillions is much quieter than the Chimes and is easier shopping. There are some nice discount shops, Argos, TK Max and book shops. The shopping Centre has big doors at the entrance which makes me feel a little more comfortable with young children who could run off. I prefer this part of Uxbridge and would recommend a visit.

This is a very dated and old style and looking shopping centre based in Uxbridge. It is deserted compared to the Chimes centre based only 100 yards away. You will normally find older loyal folk at this shopping centre and there is also an indoor market usually every Tuesday. There are a few half decent shops based here but the whole style of the centre looks very old fashioned which sometimes puts you off going there and my time especially is always spent at the Chimes instead. Parking is pay and display and is about the same rate as the Chimes but is a headache if you normally prefer to pay according to the time you spend rather than having to keep clock watching and rush back in case of gettinfga fine.

Pavillions food hall is a good place to go, theres basically a number of outlets including a druckers, british food, mexican, jacket potatos and chinese with the seats in the middle of them all.
The prices are pretty average and there are cleaners constantly walking around cleaning tables ensuring you have somewhere to sit.
There are other places with better surroundings in the city centre.

Any CD, DVD or Poster, HMV has it. Even if it overpriced compared to the internet. Staff are quick, but not very helpful, and their store alarm has a high tendancy to go off every 5 minutes, which can get very annoying, very quickly.

Cheap food and its just as you walk outside the bullring. Nice for a quick snack they have indian, english, chinseese and mexican and alot of Italian food! I would recommend the Mexican not found a lot and its really nice! Its just a cheap nice lunch.
The food comes quickly ive never waited more than 15mins and the staff are nice and you can respect them as they go out their way for you.
There are always alot of people because it is cheap and nice food but its nice place and so close to the bullring away from the rip off food.

Just a few minutes walk from the Bullring this shopping centre does not get as busy as it did in the days before the Bullring but it is still home to many stores. Two large music stores at noticeable when passing from outside in the shape of HMV and Zavvi. Inside they have a food court on the top floor and many shops from Evans to Marks and Spencers. It is a clean and well lit shopping centre and worth a look in as although the Bullring is the biggest centre in Birmingham there are shops in here too

Good location, attached to the train station, meaning its always tempting to have a look through the shops on your way into Birmingham. Good variety of shops, including chains like HMV, Poundland, New Look, but also so smaller cheap shops and a nice juice bar. Nice to see it still exists with the Bullring so close.

With Waterstones, Zavvi and HMV spanning across most of the 4 floors it is easy to spend a few hours browsing this shopping centre. It is very close to the Bullring, has a food court on the top floor and I have always found it to be clean and a nice place to shop.

The top of the pavilions is not particularly classy or sophisticated. A sea of plastic seats cover the fourth floor and various food outlets are scattered around them
If you’re after a quick bite to eat, this is the perfect place to come. You are guaranteed a seat and can be sure you’ll have your meal in under 10 minutes. It’s practically self service as you pick up a tray and decide what to eat, while a dinner lady-​esque tabbered woman serves your meal. There’s plenty of choice; Jacket potatoes, salads, pies, traditional English meals, mexican, Italian and Asian. There is sure to be something to please the whole family.
It’s pretty noisy so it’s perfect for kids but not so suited for a quiet conversation.
My advice: Get in, plonk your bags down with a friend, order, eat, use the loo, and get the hell out into a relaxing bar.

Opposite the big shopping centre in Uxbridge, you will find The Pavillions Shopping Centre, which has been here for years.
Not so great for choice, but ok choice and pretty good for the budget shopper. There is an Iceland, Bakers Oven, an indoor market — craft market midweek — Supercuts, Poundland, Marks & Spencers, Thorntons, Peacocks, TK Maxx, Argos… and some independent shops dotted around, such as a shoe shop, heel repair and key cutting service and an opticians. There are more shops and a couple of cafes. It’s lost some of it’s biggest names to the Chimes across the road, but should be checked out on a shopping trip when in Uxbridge.
