I attended sutton coldfield college from 2002 to 2005. The teaching staff were excellent though I found at times they weren’t very encouraging. It is very easy to get distracted with a whole building dedicated to amenities containing a pool room, chill out lounge and the canteen. The facilities within the college are generally good, the library is slightly on the small side considering the amount of students that attend. Another problem is the compulsory A level general studies, it wastes valuable time that could be spent on other subjects. Overall if you are willing to work hard and want good quality teaching then this is the place for you.

Sutton college is located just a short walk out of the centre of Sutton itself. It is a further education college with excellent facilities. It offers the usual post 16 options for year 12 and 13 students like AS Level’s and A level’s. It also offers adult courses which are usually offered free of cost and most importantly it offers courses on saturday’s. If you’re even slightly interested in improving your skills it’s worth getting in touch with them to see what they can do.
