I LOVE LETTUCE!
And I’m not afraid to shout about it! Typically in Subways, whilst they say you can have as much salad as you fancy on your sub, you have to coerce them into going through with this deal. Not here. I asked for a ‘load of lettuce’ and rather than the skimpy couple of bits I usually end up with, prompting me to ask another 3 or so times for ‘more lettuce’, the guy stuck his hand into the tub and pulled out more lettuce on the first handful than I think I’ve ever had before, which was great! He also took great delight in fulfilling my request for ‘loads of sweet onion sauce’ on my chicken teriyaki sub (the best one!).
Which is why, 10 minutes later when tucking into my sub on the train back to London, even though the amount of filling had split the other side of the bread making it a bit trickier to eat, I was a very happy chappie.

Finally got to have my favourite sub (Spicy Italian) on the day of the week that it is reduced (Sunday). The counter was packed but at least the service was quick and the sub was tasty as usual. Take away only here, nowhere to sit nearby. Handy location to grab a snack for the train, Otherwise an unpleasant and busy place to come.
