Catwalk designs are commonly being incorporated in Asian formal outfits. Silons focuses on fusion pieces of traditional Asian fabrics and embroidery with Western designs in the form of long dresses and corset/skirt outfits. The exterior looks like a high-end boutique with gorgeous window displays. However, the same appeal is lacking inside. There are many staff members who tend to shadow you as you browse, which I personally find quite frustrating but I suppose they’re attempting to give a personal shopping experience. The designs are quite exuberant and extreme for my taste, but if that is what you’re into then it’s worth a visit. They’re far from reasonably priced with outfits at around £400, although this is about average in the local area. They stock a limited range of jewellery also. There is a pay and display car park next to the boutique, which has a corner location so it’s hard to miss.

Just by looking at the saris on display at Silons, I had a feeling that this place oozes class. And I was right. The saris here are pretty decent and my family have been here on several occasions. My mother in particular enjoys coming here and has brought a couple of dresses for upcoming weddings. Not that my dad has been pleased about it since he has ended up paying for them. There are also Mens sherwanis on sale so there is something for Men and they are not waiting for their partners to come out of the store. No offence women but you do spend way to long in shops. I know exactly how Men feel when it comes to waiting for women to finish in shops. I would come back here for sure and prices are not bad although there are one or two items that are expensive. A decent shop to go to in my view if you are looking for something to wear at a wedding.
