Never been to Nandos until today, having been put off by the stream of tv jokes, where does an Essex man… etc, and the fact that numerous stand up (middle class) comedians seem to veiw it as Mcdonalds plus for hoodies, but what a revelation. A platter of a tasty whole peri peri chicken, sides of savoury rice, fries, salad and corn on the cob, a refillable diet coke and two ice cream sundaes, all for £25.There was plenty of food and then some for two, we have found our go to fast food restaurant, we will be returning.

Must start by saying I am a big fan of Nandos and have never had a bad experience there. This was no exception. Somewhere nice to eat has been needed at The Fort for a while now and they opened this up around September along with a Starbucks and Scallywags play centre. The price is the same as all other ones I have been to, I usually pay around £10 for a meal with side order and a bottomless drink. Kids meals with an ice lolly or frozen yogurt are £3.99. The staff were really friendly and the service was wonderful and we did not have to wait long for the food.
