History

Established in 2007.

I have been painting and producing commissioned and personal artwork for sale since I completed by BA Hons degree in Fine Art Painting in 1988, but my career was as an Art Psychotherapist for over 11 years.

Luminescent Studio is an on-​line gallery and was created to share my art and creativity.

I take great care to consult with the client to make sure their requirements are met, using mixed media on paper or canvas and guarantee a finish to a high specification to meet your satisfaction.

Business Owner

I grew up in Walsall, West Midlands and felt compelled as a young child to draw. I was lucky to have been given a direct entry into the second year of an Art Foundation course in Walsall and went on to complete my BA Hons degree in Fine Art painting at Stourbridge College of Technology and Art. Disillusioned by the snobbery in the art world I studied to be an Art Psychotherapist and practiced for over 11 years — specialising in adolescents, ex-​offenders and the homeless. My art was always a sideline as my career into Social Housing took off and I didn’t look back. Social policy became my passion and my ‘bread and butter’ until growing older taught me a different pace and re-​ignited my passion for my art in 2007.
