Mrs Preserve is the creator of some of the best ranges and the very first time I met her, I told her I loved the fact that she produces her products in ‘trial sizes,’ you know, the like the little jam jars you see at hotel breakfasts. Not only does that mean you can try before you buy a larger jar, it also means you can have loads of variety to spread on your chunky toast slices. I always go back to favourites from the Holly & Ivy chocolate range, especially white chocolate and raspberry or dark chocolate and clementine but I always buy the big jar of the whiskey marmalade (£3.75)
There are also loads of jellies, chutneys, oils and vinegars amongst the lovingly produced products.
The company can be found at a variety of Birmingham’s Food markets and lucky for me, over the Summer they’ll be at Brindleyplace food market on the last Friday of each month.
