I expect Greggs branches are the same nationwide. All of the ones I’ve been to are much the same, and Yardley’s no different. They just have a different accent in there than the ones in, say, York.
Greggs is (as far as I’m aware) the UK’s biggest bakery chain. Breads, cakes, pasties, sandwiches, biscuits. That’s about it, with many variations of each. Prices are very reasonable, the food is pretty decent, and you’re served quickly.
In the Yardley branch I’ve sometimes found there to be a wait on certain items being baked, but this is very rare and likely occurs all over. The staff are friendly, local types. This branch is located at the Yew Tree shopping area, near Iceland and Woolworths (RIP).
