History

Established in 1997.

Doughty Construction was established in 1997 and since then has been exceeding its customers’ expectations. Taking on new projects and gaining experience of new materials and processes as they become available. After working in his family’s business, the proprietor, Andrew Doughty worked for Chesterton before gaining a B.Sc. in Building Surveying from U.C.E. After this he went to work as a project manager at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre and the National Indoor Arena. Before starting his own business he worked for an Architects practice working on projects for BT and the Coal Authority. Most of our work since we were established has been for private house holders. Other customers include The BBC and Channel 4. We have also done work for local schools
