Wow, affordable couture. Exactly what Birmingham needs. And exactly what I want.
You can buy off the shelf unique, handmade or customised pieces, or you can commission designer Paul ‘Burbo’ to make you something completely new.
Paul’s designs have a punky, Vivienne Westwood look for a sensible price, beating high street fashions hands down. As he says, it’s not about ‘what’s in’ anymore, it’s about your own unique style.
Worth the trip.

Burbo K’ture is a great shop in the Custard Factory. The owner Paul can take any item of clothing (within reason!) and make it infinitely cooler!
Modern, alternative, punky, standout … this is K’ture done with pure «bang» factor! You can either buy from clothes in the shop or he will customise a piece for you!
I have recently acquired a jacket from Burbo and am a very satisfied customer.
What’s even better, is that Paul will do it at very affordable prices!

It’s so good to see something different arrive on the Birmingham clothes scene. Not yet a year old, @BURBOKture provide you with the modern clothing. It may be clothing that once existed in another guise but clever designer Paul will make something much better with it.
He’ll also customise a piece or create something especially for you. Affordable couture!
Tucked into the Custard Factory, Burbo K’ture is one of several new faces in the area. Now must be the time for this neighbourhood to really become established as a bonafide, must visit, part of the city centre.
