History

Established in 2009.

BSKA is a street artist based in Birmingham, UK who specialises in spray painting unique interpretations of famous icons, his work is also strongly influenced by South Africa. He started off selling his Stencil Prints to fundraise for a trip to South Africa in the summer of 2009. The popularity of these prints inspired him to carry on designing and printing more until he had a great range of different designs. With a strong interest in Black History, BSKA’s first designs were of Hendrix and Bob Marley. He then experimented with spray painting these designs onto clothing, such as Hoodies and T-​shirts.

BSKA was lucky enough to win a banner design competition on the Bob Marley Facebook site, where his design was the profile picture of the Official Bob Marley Facebook for a week. After returning from South Africa from the third time, BSKA started creating an online website, www​.bska​.co​.uk, where these Prints and Clothing could be viewed and bought.
