Big Deals @The Big Apple

I love it when a name says what you need/​want to know about the shop. It’s even better when the shop actually lives up to that name. You see what I’m getting at?
This shop is like a mini supermarket in the heart of the Acocks Green Village and as the name suggests you could save a lot of money by shopping here. Most of their veg was «Buy 3 for £1.00» and it actually looked fresh! Most of their dry food was no more than £2.00. With prices this low I think their profit margins must be small and I was left wondering how they made money. If they did make a good profit I think a lot of it needs to be invested in a new floor because their current one is just dirty!
The shop isn’t that big, in fact it’s a decent size. They’ve put some of the food including veg openly outside and it looked fresh, whether this is due to lack of indoor space or to lure people in I don’t know. Either way if I bought anything that was left outside I’d give it a thorough wash. Despite this I would like to come back here to pick up some quality food for low prices.
