A Third Foot

When I first started skateboarding, I had to send off to London for my first vehicle via mail order. There weren’t any skateboard shops in Birmingham, and the closest place that was making them was in California. That’s now changed and right here in my home city is a factory making top-​quality hand-​crafted product with graphic edge.
The anarchic amongst you will like the Mau Mau graphics with a subversive political bent. For literary skaters, (there are many an intellectual among them, ya know), there are boards depicting the penguin that graces the covers and spines of books from one of Britain’s finest publishers. For animé fans there are a range of boards with Studio Ghibli looking roots. And more.
